Only 600 shawls are made in this design and each one is numbered sequentially on the wrapper. They are packaged elegantly inside a clear tube with a story card featuring the artist's bio and a wrapper that shows the design of the shawl.
Born in Temagami, Ontario, Chee Chee largely taught himself to draw and paint. He was a prominent member of the second generation of Woodland Indian painters, an Indigenous art movement that began in the early 1960s and has since become one of the important art schools in Canada.
